Lotz Studios for Videography?

Hi ladies,

I know a lot of you have used this co. for photos, but has anyone used these guys for videography?  I know they are a bit new to doing video and was just curious if anyone had any feedback about working with them.  Thanks!!

I used them and they were amazing! Prodigy Video, Nathan! They were great to work with and we love our DVD!

She's talking about Lotz, not Prodigy...

Turns out that Lotz has actually teamed up with Prodigy and the videos are Nathan's from Prodigy.  I had an AWFUL experience trying to get a hold of Jared at Lotz M-F last week with no returned calls or emails only to be told Monday that someone had booked on Thursday thru an admin that I never knew existed while Jared was busy not calling or emailing me back.  It turns out if Nathan is booked the business goes to Jared, which after this whole experience is fine with me b/c I'd have rather had Nathan anyway. 

I'd book with Prodigy if they were available in a heartbeat -- they are beyond amazing, but after this I will never recommend Lotz or deal with them.  They definitely are in need of a better business model, and if I were Prodigy, I'd rethink being associated with them.

I used Lotz studios with Prodigy at my wedding and was BEYOND thrilled with all of their work!! I had an amazing experience working with Jared (as he did much of my video work). I'm not sure why you feel you have the right to speak so negatively about a studio you have never even had the pleasure to meet or work with. I find it to be extremely rude and uncalled for. These professionals are all amazing people and extremely hard workers. I feel I can speak from my actual experinces with them since Mike and Kim shot my wedding and Nathan and Jared did all of the video.

There has to be some sort of misunderstanding here!!!  I have been working with the Lotz Team since the spring of 2009, and they ALWAYS return my emails asap, like within minutes typically and EVERY SINGLE TIME within 8 hours (and I email them A LOT!)  In fact, I was marveling last week at how responsive they are!!!  Honestly, we could not have asked for a better photographer!!!  They photographed our recent wedding and we are working on our albums now, and they were just perfect!!!  The pictures are awesome and captured our event exactly how I imagined; and they were terrific to work with!  You spend your entire wedding day with your photographers, so make sure it's someone you love, and we LOVE Mike, Kim, and Jarred!!!  They also did two of my friends weddings, and they both RAVE like I do!!!   Please, I think somehow there was just a misunderstanding!!!  I recommond Lotz 110%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also used Lotz Studios and Prodigy Video for my wedding recently, and couldn't have been happier.  I never had an issue with Lotz getting back to me...in fact they sent me e-mails at midnight on occasions after shooting a wedding all day just to answer a non-urgent question. 

And if in fact this wasn't user error on your part and your date was booked, why are you surprised? You probably have a popular date and since they are a pretty in demand company, of course they are going to get booked!! That is the story of a bride's life! Can't always get your way, but don't deface a company that is the best in town and couldn't be a more respectful and honest group of extremely talented photographers and videographers.

So to the poor girl who asked the question about whether or not to use Lotz Studios, please disregard the disgruntled bride and look to all of the past brides that have seen the slander and rallied around this company.  And look at their website...it will speak for itself!

Lotz Studios did an AMAZING job at our wedding. They were by far, hands down, our FAVORITE vendor. Lotz Studios is an amazing business to work with (THANK YOU Mike and Kim). We got married last summer and they didn't have the videography up and running yet. Trust me, if they had, we would have had them do our pictures and video. This family photography business can't be topped!!

My family and I have worked with every member of the Lotz Studios team and have always been extremely impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and the emotional connection they create with their clients, of course their photos/videos speak for themselves, simply AMAZING! They did our engagement shoot, wedding, newborn photos, and family holiday shoots! My husband and I have recommended them to several of our friends and will continue to do so as you will not find a more quality family business in Columbus!

My husband and I worked with Mike with Lotz Studios and he was amazing! We had him do our engagement and wedding photos, and enjoy looking at the pics everyday! I felt like I had known Mike for years after the first time meeting him! If you want the best wedding pics and videos EVER....contact LOTZ STUDIOS!!!!

We enjoyed the pics so much that we are waiting for an excuse to have another photo shoot so we can hang out again!
