Bridal Shower Location in Columbus!

Hello! My mother is throwing me a bridal shower in Columbus. Neither of us live in Columbus, but it's an easy location for all the ladies in the family to meet. Unfortunately we don't have any idea of where to hold the event!

We're looking for something casual and fun, maybe a little unusual (like some of the places in the Short North) where we can host no more than 30 people. Possibly a bakery or cafe. We'd love to do a dessert/cocktail event, but are open to brunch/lunch as well!

Any suggestions would be REALLY appreciated. Thanks for the help!

If you're looking for a good place in the Short North, I recommend DeepWood downtown. Had our rehearsal dinner there. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Laid back, cool interior, great pricing. There's also the Mahan Gallery that does events.

If you're looking for a bakery of some kind, La Chatelaine has amazing food and there are 3 locations around Columbus (not sure though if they do private events- all of the locations certainly have enough space for it) or Mozart's Bakery in Clintonville. I know they do private events, but never been there for one, and their desserts are good.
  • Consder Moxie's Gifts, Candy and Party Room in Clintonville.  It is just north of the Short North.  There are photos on their facebook page and their webiste (www.shopmoxies.com).  The party room can accomodate up to 40.  They can help with your party plans or, if all you need is the location, the room rents for only $35 per hour.  Call Mary at 614-657-6854
