Photo booth Q

We are using Shutterbooth for our FB, but I am pondering over one of their options.  You can get duplicates of everyone's photos, but it's $75.  They will give us a CD with all of the pics on it, so I'm not sure if its really worth it.  The guests can take UNLIMITED photos, so I'm just not sure what to do.  We aren't having a traditional guest book.  So I wanted people to take a pic in the FB, put it in a custom scrapbook, and sign the book under the pic.   Then they can take another set of pics for them to take home.  What do ya think?  Please give me much needed advice.

Our package has all of that included. I wanted each guest to be able to take home their pictures because those are our favors, but we are also getting the CD just in case we ever want to use the pictures for something. I'll probably make my own Shutterfly book and would most likely include some photobooth pictures! :)

I would pay the extra -- the scrap book we got was really fun (but it was inlcuded in the costs).  They put the duplicate in there and the guests signed by their pic.  We also got the disc and while I backed it up on my computer, I will probably never use it otherwise.  It's not like I'm going to print the shutterbooth pics myself...

We are booking infinity photobooth after considering about 5 different companies, shutterbooth being one and here is the reason we choose inifinity.
1.) Automatic reprints for everyone in the booth, plus one for the album...no additional charges
2.) High quality scrapbooks...our main reason.  Their scrapbooks look more professional and they have people sign small cards that then get stuck into the book, instead of sloppy signatures right on the page.  This way if someone messes up, they can throw out the card as opposed to ruining a whole page.
3.) We preferred the photo quality over others.
4.) They also are super accommodating, we saw them for a 3rd time at a bridal show yesterday and asked if they over thought about doing photo magnets as opposed to the current options.  We were told that they have priced it out, just never ordered them but they could get them in if that's what we wanted.

We ended up going with infinity too!
IMO the extra money is worth it. It is a really cool way to look back at your wedding and saves so much hassle.

I like the idea of the scrapbook with the pictures however i dont think everyone would follow through with it.
What if you did little cut outs (shapes, flowers, leaves, whatever) and have people write messages on those and put them in a box or bowl instead of a "guest book"
then get the 2nd print out of photos for the $75.
and assemble the book yourself pairing up the shaped comments with the pictures of your guest.

We booked Infinity too.  I loved their booth so much more compared to Shutterbooth.  And the fact that you get unlimited copies of each picture is a major bonus!

Go for it -- the guests will have more fun knowing they can take the photos home instead of it JUST being for the scrapbook/guestbook (As in, if I knew it was JUST for the guestbook I'd be a little bit goofy still presentable. If I could take photos home, then BAM! I'd be doing funny posing and having a good time lol)

I would totally pay the extra for the second set of prints. Our guests were pretty good about signing the scrapbook but even if they didn't, the company still put the photos in there. And it was SO FUN to have the pictures immediately the next morning. We didn't have any sneak peak pro pics yet and our friends hadn't qite posted on FB yet so the photobooth scrapbook was IMMEDIATE. I'd definately say it's worth $75!
