Any reccommendations for cheap lighting rentals?

We are getting married in May 2013 and are having our reception at Andiamo Warren. I was looking for a good but cheap lighting company for uplighting and a 'starry night' on the dance floor ceiling. Can anyone reccommend a good company that doesn't charge an absurd $2500 (I've been quoted this!!)? Thanks!

Have you checked with your DJ? A lot of DJ's have a smaller set of lighting options that may even come with the service or as an additional part of the package.

Yay for another Andiamo Bride--my wedding is on 12/1/12!!!! I'm using The Lighting Guy (www.thelightingguy.net) because they were pretty much the only ones that offered the Starry Night over the dance floor. I'm also using Loretta (www.linensandbeyond.net) for my linens/chairs. She's doing the backdrop behind our head table and threw in the lights for that for free. If you use her for linens she'll most likely give you a good deal on lights for the whole room as well. And as PP's said, most florists and DJ's offer competitive pricing for lighting too. Lighting was one of the last things I booked just because it seemed these vendors didn't book quite as fast, so I'd say you have a little time to shop around. Our DJ (my FI's friend does it professionally) unfortunately doesn't offer lighting. The Lighting Guy (Andiamo reccommended them) was the one who quoted me $2500! I almost fell out of my chair! Lol. I'm going to def check into lighting from Linens and Beyond but we found someone who does the chair covers for a REALLY good price ($1.50-$2.50/ chair! LMK if you want her info).  My florist doesn't offer any lighting either. 
  Side note for Jacks2913, did you hear that Andiamo is turning into a steak house? They are still going to offer the amazing Italian food but re-focus their menu. I haven't talked to Dawn or Jordan yet but I assume our menu options will stay the same.

YES!!! I heard right after I ordered my invitations that say Andiamo Italia on them. I even called to make sure that's the correct thing to put on them!!! I was kind of hoping that they would keep the banquet hall the way it is lol

i was looking around for lighting options and found http://www.diyuplighting.com. looks like rental only.   might be a good option if you have somebody available to set everything up.  not sure how difficult this would be....

The banquet hall will stay the same. They just renovated it when (from what I heard) the owners kid got married a few years ago. It's so pretty in there!
