Photographers. Exhausted, lol

I've been sitting here going through the vendors poll at the top of this board, looking at all of your photographers.  A lot of you ladies have much bigger budgets than me!! Jealous

Anyway, since I'm getting tired and worn from doing THAT, I'm just going to ask flat out:

Do any of you know of a wedding photographer that goes for $1000 or less?  Preferably for 6+ hours...

It's looking bleak.

Where are you getting married? I know a photographer from Bay City that is within your budget, she will travel, but I am not sure the cost. She is just starting out but has done quite a few weddings. Her site is:

I am using Amanda Williams she is $1350 and absolutely amazing. I used her for my engagement pictures and I loved how they turned out and can't wait to see what she comes up with for the wedding!

There are a few others that are around your budget, but I can't remember who they are I am sure other knotties will remember

amanda williams is a LITTLE more than you budget (about 1350 total i think?) but if you can swing it i would.... she just did our engagmant shots yesterday and i cannot say enough good things about her... havnt seen the pictures yet but the way she interacts with her clients and the way she doesnt care if she gets dirty crawling on the ground is great!! i cant wait till be shots come back!!!

We are using  Enhance Photography.  Erin is our Photographer and when we did our engagement pictures we had a lot of fun with her.    I loved our engagement pictures when we got them and cant wait to see what our wedding pictures will turn out like.   Here is a link to her website.  She had some very reasonable prices when we booked her.

I'm using Pure Amour Photography (Amy) and for her 5 hour package it's $700.  She told us that it is her most popular package, and most weddings the bride and groom add on another hour - though I don't remember exactly how much more it will be, but we plan on doing that most likely - I'm pretty sure she'd still be within your budget!  And she's really great, I love working with her so far!

ETA: Just checked out her site and it is $75 per extra hour.  That's less than I thought, actually!

Kreativ Imaging offers a package for less than $1000. He doesn't charge for travel.

I had a similar budget and I highly recommend Mark from MPK Photo.  He did our engagement pictures and wedding pictures and I could not be happier!

I'm using Lovella Photography. I think her 6 hour package is 950. She's great to work with though.

I 100% tell you to call Sandy from The Camera Chick. www.thecamerachick.com. She is $1000 no time limit, includes engagement, wedding, trash the dress (if you want).  She also doesn't require a very large deposit.  She is so nice and so sweet! She even texts me updates and texted on the 1 year left day to say congrats!  I really trust her and love working with her! CHeck it out! (LOL Promise I am not a vendor, I am just a very happy costumer!)

I highly recommend my photog: Essence of Life Photography (http://www.eolphotography.com). They are definately within your budget range and the best thing is that you get 2 photogs! Linda will stay with the girls in the morning and Russ hangs with the guys. You get a ton of great shots it takes a lot less time to get all your photos taken with 2! Check out my married bio for my pro pics. You won't be disappointed.

on a side bar, I bet if you fall in love with one of the photog's but can't afford them (and they are not crazy priced) they would be happy to negotiate with you.  I know my girl Roberta over at Shootz Photography has said this to me before when I've asked about refering people to her.  So maybe you love Roberta too or Amanda Williams, maybe drop them an email explaining your sistuation but dire love for their work and see what happens! Worse they can say is nope.
