Mines NWR, well not my wedding anyways, we just found out yesterday that FIs cousin is planning a destination wedding to Las Vegas for this coming August. I have never been to a wedding in Vegas before so it should be fun, and the wedding is the day before my birthday, so I will get to be on vacation for my birthday

My dress is in!! But I have to wait til the 18th to pick it up. It's going to be torture trying to keep myself from putting it on every day for the next 8 months.

We picked and ordered our cake yesturday!!! We are going with a small 3 teir cake and then having a couple shet cakes in the back. Our flavors are Chocolate cake with strawberry filling, marble and white with strawberry filling. We also came in $1 under my budget for it..lol

LOTON01

In the past week everything has fallen into place with my bachelorette party in Las Vegas. I am so excited. We are staying at The Hotel which is the all suite hotel inside Mandalay Bay. I have never been and can't wait to party and relax.

I also think I am about 90% close to being able to print my invites. I have one completed and I am just waiting on my mom to do her once over. She is like the grammar police, which is amazing for things like this.

Yes, there are horror stories about Salons losing dresses but I honestly would rather be able to blame someone else (i.e. the salon) than if something happened while the dress was in my position, lol and also because I thought I would want to wear it everyday.</div>

My invitations are in and almost assembled and ready to be sent. As per usual, I am awful at uploading pictures here, but I guarantee they're awesome and I'm just happy to have them done!

ETA: Duh, I have another AW...we booked the honeymoon. We booked Excellence P*nta Cana Resort in the DR. And I got our corporate bonus at work this week which should pay for it!

We got a new bedroom set, mattress, and comforter!

Carpet is being installed tomorrow! House is starting to come together!

Got the marriage license yesterday!

A BFF of mine just told me she's pregnant!! YAY!

You'll get over it.  I've had my dress in the spare bedroom closet since December 1st and I've only put it on twice.  Once the day I brought it home because one of my maids hadn't seen it yet and once in January because my out of town cousin was visiting.  Other than that, it's a giant pain in the butt to get out of the bag and laced up etc and I'm terrified of getting dog hair on it.  Now it just sits in there with the crinoline and veil all waiting to go :0)


AW for me:  made the appointments for Maids and Mother's dress shopping on March 3rd.  We're going to brunch at the Dearborn Inn and then on to Miracle and Dior after that.  Excited :0)

Well it's not wedding related, but I'm super excited about it. For the past few months w we were debating selling our house or having it go into foreclosure since the mortgage was ridiculously high and it made no sense to stay when the house isn't worth a third of what FI paid for it. 

Long story short...we found out this week that the bank is going to work with us and we can keep it! We had given up all hope and had started to look for a different home. 

Feels great knowing that we can fix up our home and this will be where we raise a family! Once the papers are signed, a HUGE weight will be lifted off of us.

I got my iPhone today and my new car over the weekend!! Nothing WR though.. Still working on that.. Ha
