I cannot wait until Thursday to AW about this.

We got our first shower gift in the mail yesterday! It's a set of our flatware! We were so excited when it came.

On another note, I have a serious registry stalking problem. Seriously. It's really bad and I'm not sure I can control myself and it's only going to get worse as it gets closer to the wedding!

    That's cool about the gift Corinne. Now give me your password and I'll change it so you can't stalk anymore! Just think about it like it's Christmas, you don't want to ruin your surprises, do you?  Have some strength.

    Kayla--I really wish it were that easy. I love surprises, but for some reason I don't have any strength! If I didn't do it, then FI totally would.

    I looked at mine like every other day before my showers.  I didn't feel disappointed or like I ruined Christmas because I had looked though... that might not help you to stop looking, but maybe it'll make you feel better? : )

    Woohoo - that's so exciting.

    Stalk away - its still really fun opening all the gifts, and if your guests are anything like mine they'll buy things other than the registry items so there will be plenty of surprises. Of course I was terrible about checking out the registry multiple times a day so its not the most unbiased advice lol.

    that is so exciting!

    I wouldn't feel too bad about registry stalking - I check pretty much every day.  I figure, I don't know who is buying what (except for the first couple things were definitely FI's mom since she was the only one who knew we were registered) or when we are getting the gift (shower vs. wedding), so I'm not really ruining anything.  at least that's how I justify it...  :)
