DIA Reception

I just saw this article online: http://www.freep.com/article/20090720/NEWS01/90720059/1001/rss01I think having a reception at the DIA would be awesome (probably expensive though).  I wanted to pass it on to you ladies who are still looking for a reception site.

It says room rentals are $7,000-$15,000.  Ouch.  Price per person isn't bad, $50-$125, but that room rental fee sucks.

I'm insulted they didn't mention The Henry Ford museum in their little list of other museums that hold receptions!!! I may be a bit partial though.

Wow... And you wouldn't need decoration!! All the art can do that for you! I wish I knew about this 3 months ago!

You know, $125/person is not bad at all, because at the end it says that this INCLUDES 20% gratuity and 6% tax.  I would pay that.  The room rental fee is what blows.  I can't wait to see pics of weddings there!
