I am making my own programs. I wanted the pages to be on vellum. I have checked with several places and they have told me that they cannot print on vellum paper. Does anyone know where i can go to have my programs printed on vellum?thanks!
I made my friend's programs with vellum last year and we used her mom's printer. You can do this with vellum so long as the brand you buy says "printer safe." Also make sure that if you use a home printer, you have enough ink (my friend's mom's printer started running out of black and some of the print outs looked reddish). So the design was black text on vellum spray fixed to a background of flowery paper. Only do this if you have enough time. It took a good couple days to finish this task with just me, my friend and her FI. This does probably save some money though.
I'd be happy to help if you like. I generally don't have any problems with the vellum invitations that I design...but it does depend upon the vellum you choose. If you'd like to come by and check it out, I'm in Canton and I'd be happy to work with you (no obligation). Check out my website first if you like...www.customcreations-invitations.com. You can contact me thru the website or at custominvitations@sbcglobal.net. Best of luck to you.
