lawjig, LOVE "Feels Like Home" (and I can't spell her last name either lol).Right now the front runners are: You and I (Michael Buble), Nothing Fancy (Dave Barnes), All I Want Is You (U2) and The Luckiest (Ben Folds)...but I'll probably change my mind a million times before it's time to really choose.My friend and her DH danced to Book of Love by Peter Gabriel and I cried through the whole thing! Such a sweet song, and uncommon, which was nice.

As by Stevie Wonder b/c he says that he'll love her until a bunch of impossible things happen like 8x8=4, the dolphins fly and Paris is at sea, you are me and I am you...   It's upbeat.  ORNever Felt This Way by Brian McKnight b/c it's really slow and beautiful.  He has such a wonderful voice and it's just him and the piano.  My dress is really big and I'm not sure how much I'll be able to move.  This song is slow enough that I won't have to do to much.

Oooo, those are all good ones. We have been talking about this because FI really wants to dance to She's Everything by Brad Paisley but I worry its too much about the girl, not about love together. If that makes sense.

We can't decide. FI refuses to have anything "trendy" or "something that everyone uses because it was in a romantic comedy". UGH!!!He is driving me nuts so who knows what we will agree on. I wanted either "the Way you look tonight" by Frank Sinatra or "You are the best thing by Ray Lamontagne".

"Feels Like Home" by Chantal Kreviazuk was my first choice, but it was the wedding song for some friends of ours...and they are now divorced. So, it was vetoed.My next choice was "You Are" by Jimmy Wayne, but Bri wasn't feeling it.Now, I'm kind of stuck.  Possibly "Beautiful As You" by Jim Brickman and Wayne Brady (lol).

my baby just cares for me - nina simone hey love - stevie wonder it's short, and sweet. nina is the front runner for now. i'm not a fan of a lot of the contemporary choices- i like the artists, but the songs don't do anything for me. the peter gabriel is a GREAT song though, sunkissed- and i would love you forever if you played DB as your first dance. i lalalove him. he's a funny guy.
