Via Vecchia

Hey Ya'll!
I am on the hunt for a venue and have recently began investigating Via Vecchia. It looks exactly what I am looking for and I'd love to get any input/information regarding having a wedding there!
(Renting, Catering By Scott Information, Alcohol information, etc.)

Also, if anyone has their e-mail to get in touch with them, I would greatly appreciate it! :)

Thank you in Advance!

I went and looked at it but we decided else where. I was worried about the space and how it would be used. There is a large brick wall with openings and we would of had to have tables behind it and i felt they would be seperated from the rest of the wedding.

Catering by Scott, I was very iffy with as well, he promised a million and 1 things but then when it came down to it it did not happen, we gave him a budget and he went crazy over it, he just gave me a weird vibe.

The space is very modern and pretty. A lot of brides are using it.

I am using Via Vecchia. The rental price I paid was $2,500 but the were talking about raising it to $3k, not sure if they have. Scott has been great so far. Unlike many venues he offers a variety of options including food stations, family style, sit down, etc. and so you can adjust the menu based on your budget. They offer bar packages which I found to be very reasonable compared to those of other venues. Michael and Paolo, the owners, are amazing and so far the feedback from married gals has been nothing but positive. We have a Facebook page which I'm pretty sure you are welcome to join even if you are still deciding. You can see a few pics/videos from past weddings there. I would call the number on the website, when I called originally Michael answered right away and was incredibly helpful. One more thing is that they don't charge a separate set up fee if you want to have your ceremony there as well. Good luck in choosing a venue!

I cannot believe they are talking about raising their prices!!! OMG that is crazy we looked in May and they were only 2000, so they raised it 1000 dollars in a year! I know that Scott was raising his food prices as well.

$3k for a room rental fee seems INSANE. That amount of money would feel like 150 guests at your reception!
It's for sure I'm gonna love you all the way. Frank Sinatra

It all depends what you're looking for. Most of the downtown venues have rental fees. For the ones with lower fees, sometimes their bar minimums, etc. are insanely high. Via Vecchia has no minimums once you've paid the rental fee.

  • I went and visited Via Vecchia last week and booked on the spot!! I am absolutely in love! It was a last minute for me to go down there and check it out and I couldn't leave without having my date! I spent almost 2 hours with Michael, and spoke with Scott (caterer) on the phone. I couldn't ask for two better people to help me through everything for the wedding!!
