Linens

I have an appointment on Saturday with a linen person. Any advice for questions to ask? I feel like I'm learning a bunch about stuff I never thought I'd need to know about.

Ask if they have a travel fee. Do they set up and tear down at no cost? How many weddings will they do in one day? When will they set up and tear down?

Do they have a pick up fee for coming back that same night. How are their linens delivered, boxes, bags, or racks? Are they washed and pressed after each event? Pretty much what corinne said.

also what is the fee for anything that could possibly get dmg'd. if you are having candles on the tables, is there a fee if some wax gets on them. for chair cover/sashes, what is the fee for missing sashes. at weddings often drunk people tend to take them off & dance with them.... or maybe that was just my wedding. luckily they all were accounted for (with about 5 of them just laying on the dance floor at the end of the night)

I'm late on this but it's still helpful.....we met with our linen lady yesterday, and she pointed out that it's a good idea to ask your hall whether or not they set each table up for the same number of guests. At our place we can have some tables of 8 and some tables of 10, but they still sometimes sit them all for 10. Which means your number of chair covers would be altered. Just a thought! GL!
