Blackberry girls

I just got a new phone and love it. I especially love the touch screen and all the cool features but unfortunately if doesn’t get service in my house. I want to switch to a phone that has wi-fi calling. So my question is how is the blackberry curve 8900? I have never had a blackberry so I don’t know all the features are but is it worth it. I will have to switch my phone plane and pay extra for the blackberry service. How is the GPS and internet on it? TIA

I just got the Iphone but my last phone was the blackberry curve and it was great. And the GPs and internet were also good.I havent heard good reviews on the touch screen blackberry,is that the storm? But I really do love the Iphone it is even quicker than my curve and i had the palm phone before the blackberry and the blackberry was way better than the palm.I do still have my blackberry for sale if you needed it,but Im sure you were due for an upgrade.I need to put it on Ebay but have been to lazy. From what I have heard the new blackberry isnt all it's cracked up to be,But i really did like my curve.GL

I have the Blackberry Storm and I love it and hate it all at the same time!  Verizon is actually sending me a new one in the mail right now.  Mine keeps freezing on me, so they are sending me a new one.  My FI has it too, and his works great.  He's never had a problem with it at all.  When it works, the internet and everything is great.  I just know that I'm not the only one who has had a major problem with this phone.  I've heard there are lots of software issues and such.  I wish I would've gotten a different Blackberry!  You do have to buy the data plan to use a BB.  I think it's around $30 a month, but it includes texting.  So it really wasn't that much more than what I was paying before since I used to pay extra for texting.  It's worth it to be able to go on the internet as much as you want.  I can't imagine going back to a regular phone after having this one!

Is an HTC an option? I have the Snap (on Sprint) & love it. The internet, email & GPS are great & you don't have to deal with BB internet or pay the extra BB fees. I like Windows Mobile way better than BB. jmho.

I just got the curve 8900, and i absolutely love it! I had a blackberry 8300 for 2 years...and it took a crap, (my fault...just a heads up...don't take your phone in the bathroom when you shower..the steam ruins the battery!)  anyway, replaced my 8300 with the 8900, and i like it so much more!  slimmer, faster, better design..it's awesome..i would reccomend the blackberry to anyone!
