Hey Rachel!! I'm so glad you met up with us on Saturday! I had SOOO much fun and was seriously so excited to see Renee. I hope you had a good time, too :)We're going to Maui first for three days. So part of me thinks we won't mind spending a day in a car (and we have a convertible), but we only have 3 days so I'm torn.On Kauai, our hotel is in Lihue, on the southeast side of the island. Waimea Canyon is on the north side? We'll have to check that out. Thanks for the recs!

Waimea is on the south west side of the island. If you and Joe like snorkeling, the beach right next to where we stayed, Prince Kuhio Beach, is great! The Beach House restaurant is right there too and it is really good and a great place to watch the sunset. I would recommend making reservations. Do you have the Maui and Kauai revealed books? If not, you can borrow mine. They are really good for exploring and also for deciding where to eat!I had a great time on Saturday, thanks for letting me on the bus!  hahahaha

Thanks! Yes, we have both of those books...just haven't had a chance to look through them yet, unfortunately.

I looked through them before we left, then I left them at home accidentally. Luckily, there were copies in our condos. Anyways, it is definitely easier to distinguish what you want to do much better once you get there and have a better idea of where everything is.
