What is the deal,the whole summer the boards have been so slow.Is this how it is in the summer?People actually have lives?lol

I guess they do have lives. Then again as soon as most people get married they are gone

It has slowed down so much.  I think a lot of vets retired and not as many people are frequent posters anymore.  There have got to be some lurkers out there I am sure and hopefully they will start posting.

Hopefully the lurkers will start posting especially since the board has gotten newbie friendly.

Maybe we should post something for lurkers.  I know someone did a few months back and it brought out some lurkers.

Yea someone should do another Roll Call/Intro tomorrow. All the fun people went off & got married.

I have to get up at 6 for work tomorrow so I will be sure to get the ball rolling!  I don't get to knot form work so keep the ball rolling   Any ideas for fun questions? We can't let the board die.  It can be fun again!!

I don't consider myself a lurker, but I'm not quite a pro yet either. I'm starting to post on a more regular basis but I have noticed a drop in "attendance" as well. We can do this!! Lets revive this board!I'm hoping it's just because of the summer.

I'm with ya ladies! Definitely time to revive the board. I haven't been much help lately, I've been so busy w/ everything. But, man it seems like everybody left. It's sad, really I know I'll be sticking around for awhile after I get married! I remember when I first started posting about 15 months ago and all the married knotties would say how dull the nest is, but now most are over there! How is it all of a sudden so fun? Is it that much cooler than here?! Sorry, feeling abandoned.

That is so true Joanna, the nest used to be the not so hot place now it seems as if the board has gained that titled. I feel stress everytime I come on see the damn ticker. Its bad enough that I'm not eating sleeping and having nightmare. I think i'm just afraid to come on here and see the ticker.

Still a "semi-lurker" here. Tradeshow season has gone back into full swing so I haven't been able to post as much as I'd like to. Works getting in the way of my wedding planning! I think we found where we're going to have the ceremony so I'll be able to start some of my DIY projects soon.

OK, so I kinda lurk. But seriously, I just got started planning so some of the stuff you guys talk about (while very interesting) isn't something I'm ready to even deal with yet. And I'd love to do some of the awesome stuff everyone is doing, but I'm being totally selfish and trying to pull off the cheapest/fun-est wedding so I can get more cash for the honeymoon/future vacations. I love vaca so much, I'm willing to sacrifice.
