has anyone bought & had alterations done at nancy's bridal in shelby township on vandyke? just wondering if they do a good job on alterations?? my dress is stapless and i want good alterations i don't want to be pulling it up all night Thanks so much

    I have mixed feelings about Nancy's... they have a good selection and did a great job on my alterations when I was a bridesmaid... BUT... when they initially measured me for a BM dress it was all out of whack apparently because when I went in for my first fitting they accused me of gaining weight, when in actuality I lost over 10 pounds! I was so mad that they measured wrong and were mad at me for "making them let the dress out" grrrrr!

    I was a BM with a dress from there last year, and I thought they did a great job on my alterations. The lady I was working with had zero personality... until she saw me looking at wedding dresses one day and came to life (hmm...). But I say thumbs up from my experience.
