XP- choosing between 2 dresses...

So here's my dilemma- I REALLY want polka dots, more than anything, but I REALLY don't want a dress that I'll cringe when I look at photos in 20 yrs, you know? I want it to be fun, casual, unique of course.... Option 1 (can't try it on- there are no samples in the US, that scares me, but can't get it out of my head!!) on another bride (in pink, but I want champagne)- this pic shows that it's not just a poofy-nonsense dress: Option 2- I tried this on last weekend and it's WONDERFUL, felt sooo beautiful and looked great on, but.... it also feels really boring.... and it's so well made and perfect that I couldn't possibly add anything to it, it'd feel like blasphemy!! Booooo I don't know what to do!So- what do you guys think? Opinions? I know a lot of people would never wear the first dress, but pretend you're a girl who's in love with dots and finds that dress absolutely gorgeous :)

I can't see the 2nd on either, but I LOVE the first one! I don't think you'll ever look back at that one and cringe... plus, it suits your personality!

I can't see the 2nd picture either. But I do like the 1st. I've met you a few times and it does seem to be more like "you". It is unique and fun, and not boring and traditional. I don't think it is too different where you will be regretting it in 20 years. Plus, the styles are going to be changing by then anyways, so whatever you choose will be out of style then! Have you tried on that style of dress before to see how it looks? Like, with the spaghetti straps and slightly poofy tulle bottom? You are super skinny though, so you can pull off anything. I say go for #1!

I also can't see the second pic but I feel like the first pic really represents you and who cares if it's not in style 20 years from now.. because at one time.. you loved it and it was amazing!

STEPHANIE!!!Where have you been crazy lady??? Anyway, I like them both, but here's my thought. You have been eying the Rasharna for a really long time, I think it might be a good call to jump in and go for it. And we all know you look good in MS!Good luck!(BTW my mom loved the Shirley, I took her to see it a week ago)

I LOVE the first one! The second is nice but the 1st one has the wow factor.

I like the first one! I say go for it! did you try on a dress with the same shape to make sure it was the right style for you?? Plus your photog will have pics with you not so close and in focus so the dots might not appear so youll have a more 'traditional' look... although i say you will not look out dated in a dress like that, its gorgeous!

agreed.. I think the first one is very unique and you seem to really want it, and a bride should get whatever she wants when it comes to her dress :). Plus, you dont want to look back and regret not getting "the" dress.
