Outdoor Wedding Venues

I am lookin for a unique venue to have my Spring 2013 outdoor wedding and reception. I want something in the Columbus area (any of the suburbs would be fine). I want a beautiful outdoor backdrop, water is a plus. However all I'm finding are the typical golf courses and hotels which I do not want. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Park of Roses or the Franklin park conservatory has a lot of nice scenery!

    We looked into Park of Roses for our May wedding, but its really not into full bloom until beginning of June. We ended up having ours in the courtyard of the Cultural Arts Center. It has a beautiful brick patio for our guests's chairs, pretty landscaping, and fun sculptures. I would definitely recommend it. FPC is also really pretty, but it is much more pricey!

    Ohh i loved the Cultural Arts Center.  Their courtyard is a lovely place for an outdoor wedding.  The Grange Audobon (sp) has a large outdoor space as well and has beautiful views of downtown.  Oh, and the Taylor Mansion.

    Take a look at Darby House. It has a large slate patio for a ceremony over looking the Darby River. You get the entire place to yourself and they have a horse and carriage escort your guests from the parking lot to the venue. I almost had our wedding there.

    I had my ceremony at Franklin Park Conservatory (we rented the Palm House with the Pavilion). Everyone loved it. We had a trio of muscians play in one corner.

    Cultural Arts is very pretty but be aware that the courtyard is all brick and my heel got stuck when I visited. COSI also has a very beautiful courtyard (but their rain back-up room leaves something to be desired).

    Pinnacle is very pretty as well. You get a courtyard for your ceremony and a grand ballroom for your reception.
