Engagement Photos

My fiance and I wanted to get our engagement photos done but we can't afford to spend a ton on them right now. We have about 200 to spend on the session. Can anyone suggest someone good who can do them at about that cost? We would also want the rights to all of the photos.

    Look at Winberry Photography- Scott and Michelle are very nice and they give you the rights

    I know a great photographer who used to work where I do. She is just getting her business  up and running, but has fabulous photos. Her name is Lindsey Scholz and if you google her it takes you to her facebook but you can also just type it into facebook, but she does a 1 hr session for $100 dollars and you can add more time. Let me know if you want her info. I was going to use her but we decided on a DW.

    Engagement pics are included with our wedding package, so I don't know how much she charges just for the e-pics, but other sessions (boudoir, TTD, etc) run $175 and include a CD with copyright release.

    A half hour session with our photographer is $75 and you get the disc and copyright release. Our engagement session is included with our package but I have their price sheet. Matthews Wedding Photography www.matthewsphoto.net Good luck!  HTH!  :)

    Have you picked a photographer? Oftentimes they have packages that include an e-pics session.  So, you may want to start there.

    She's including the engagement photos as part of the whole wedding package but her rates are REALLY resonable!!!

    We did ours with Pictures by Chell and they were GREAT only $250 (+tax).  We got unlimited hours downtown Columbus, several outfit changes and locations, plus printed images / retouched images and a CD with all rights to all photos for us to reprint.  We have over 500 engagement pics to choose from and they were all great :-)  Here's her website http://www.wix.com/picturesbychell/captuurethemoments

    We used Christy Gibson (gibsonphotographics.net)  and she has been amazing!!!  She is doing our wedding photos as well so I'm not 100% sure what her breakdown for engagement session would be.  she has been so great!!    I don't usually post on the boards (usually just lurk) but always ALWAYS recommend Christy when there is a chance!!

    Check out Lisa Rice Photography. We booked a package but her engagement session are $200 by themself. I believe she is about to increase her prices so you may want to inquire soon. Goodluck!

    try photoscuro I know she does cheap sessioins and her work is good.  honestly i would call and say you are looking for a cheaper session and she will work with you. she give image rights included. her number is 614-560-5404.
