We're having a really hard time finding a wedding band for fi.  Any jeweler recommendations in the Ann Arbor/Ypsi, Brighton, Howell (or nearby) areas?  Independent or chain is fine, we just don't know where to look!

My sister and her husband, and FI and I, have both used Diamond Castle Jewelers in Novi.  They are great to work with and even designed my e-ring based on a picture FI took in.

FI found a band he liked at the Diamond Factory in Briarwood mall. it's family owned and hey do customs right in the store. They were really attentive and willing to work with a budget and basically create or copy any design we liked. FI and i tried on the basic bands that they work on and they were REALLY comfortable. I loved the work Austen and Warburton did for my engagement ring- but they no longer have a store front. They're available by appointment though. I'm not sure how their pricing is now that they arent paying for a store front on main st, but it's worth a call. We liked the places that did customs because most of the chain stores had rings that just didn't look and feel like they were very good quality. the designs on them just had a lot of flaws. Schlanderer & Sons on Main St in Ann Arbor. That's where I will be getting the FI's ring and where he got my e-ring. It's also where I had my wedding band fixed up and they always do a great job. If they dont have exactly what you are looking for they will bring something else in. Plus, it's independent, family owned, fourth generation. woo.

I got DH's from M. Mazzoni's in Farmington. I got it during a trunk show, which was nice b/c there were tons to pick from.
