Searching for Recomendations: A2 Cake Baker - NEED Affordable :)

Hello Brides - I really don't want to buy a cake as I don't even love cake but I like the looks of one and we decided to go with it over alternatives.  However, I want it to be affordable.. our wedding is going to be modest and out of the things I want to spend more/splurge on ... the cake will not be it. 

Can anyone recommend a "less known" but decent cake baker in the Ann Arbor or surrounding area?

Maybe Benny's Bakery in Saline or Stephanie's Wedding Creations in Monroe?

My friend got married last summer and used Gwen's Cakes in Saline. She seems to be the best as far as pricing that I can find. Her prices per slice are less than most others I have seen, plus she does free tastings and does a free cake for your 1 year anniversary. Her cake is delicious too! We will likely book with her. I used Jefferson Cakery... I found it pretty reasonable. $3.25/slice and they didn't charge any extra for decorations. There cake was really tasty as well, especially the tiramisu cake!
