when a wedding shower is being planned should the colors for the shower be the same as your wedding colors?

    I might use of the of the colors because it's my favorite and matches the dress I'm wearing.   But I'm not doing it because it's my wedding color.

    No, it doesn't have to be. Our first shower wasn't, it was a Hawaiian theme.

    No, it doesn't matter what your wedding colors are. We did different shades of purple. I am using lilac as an accent color for the wedding, but that was just pure coincidence.
