honor vs honour

Which one is correct?  Or does it even matter?

    Both are considered correct.  Honour is the traditional British spelling while Honor is the American English.

    Just make sure that you are consistent throughout the invitation.  If you use Honour make sure to use favour instead of favor.

    I read somewhere that honour is more formal.  We went with the regular HONOR!
