Favors

I'm debating on favors for my fall wedding.  Do you think guests would prefer to have an actual favor to take home like the ones picture below?

Or fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at the reception as a "late night snack"?

Cookies.  I hate to say it but I usually end up throwing non-edible favors away when I get home.

I would say cookies as well.  Although, instead of offering as a midnight snack, how about putting them in cellophane bags?

    Cookies!

Although, if you're really loving those candles, they would make great decor for a cake table, guest book table, etc.

I wouldn't ever buy guests a decor type gift as everyone has different taste and most would end up in the garbage. I would do something edible or a photobooth.

Cookies! You could get leaf shaped sugar cookies- that would be cute... Chocolate chip is always good.

Cookies, but I would find a way to do them at the tables so they are there when guests arrive.

My venue put them out for me (one of the few things they did right!). One of my favorite parts of the night was going back to the tables and looking for leftover cookies (they were wrapped in cellophane) with my 3-year-old niece around 11to go with her Shirley Temple. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif" border="0" alt="Laughing" title="Laughing" />

Those are such cute candles! However, I agree with PP and would go with the edible favors! I did the same thing- wanted cute sailboat tealight holders as favors, but ended up making anchor-shaped chocolate lollipops instead.

    Cookies!  Yummmmm.

I agree with the others to find a way to put them at the tables instead of having them served late at night.  Then they'd know that's your way of thanking them for coming and not just a snack served by the hall.

I agree with PP's as well.  Any type of food favor is better.  I tend to just throw out favors unless it's food.
