Bouquet Preservation

Do you ladies know of anyone that does bouquet preservations? I've called about 20 florists and no one does them. I have a friend that got her bouquet preserved after she got married (about 5 years ago) and she had her flowers put in a glass case and it looks so pretty. I wanted to do something similar. If anyone knows of a place that does this, please pass the information along. TIA!

    Corinne, I am friends on FB with an old Knottie who got married last fall.  She has a picture of her boquet turned into wall art.  Would this be something you'd be interested in?  Let me see if I can find it.

    Hey Julie, I know exactly who you are talking about. I'm going back and forth about it. Not sure if I have a spot to put it. And also is it really worth preserving my flowers? What will I do with them? I'm a sentimental person, but I also don't like stuff. The wall art that the girl does is amazing. Maybe I'll just do it!

    For some reason, I can't save the picture from FB right now, but she said it  was done by Betty Gjesdal at curlysart.blogspot.com.

    No clue on prices, but let me know if you look into it.  I am not a sentimental person either, but it looks pretty cool.

    I just went to her website and that is so cool!  I sent her an e-mail to find out more information on costs.  I'll let you know what I hear.

    Tammara from Grand Jour Events also does the bouquet paintings. She's my DOC and I plan to have her do a bouquet painting as well. :)

    I just decided that I will make potpourri. I can't justify spending $300+ on a painting or a shadow box full of dead flowers.

    Tammara from Grand Jour events did a bouquet painting with my bouquet last fall and I LOVE that thing.  I like that it was made with my flowers but it's not a dead looking old bouquet. :)
