My FI  swears Im putting my name first just to be honorary about it, lol!! Im like no, its actually the rule!!

I always thought (but I could be wrong) that the bride's name goes first on everything for the ceremony and before it. Like invites and programs.

Then after you are married the grooms name goes first on all the reception stuff. 

But I think thats pretty traditional, and most weddings I have been to the bride's name is first on everything.

I agree. Bride's name comes first before the wedding and groom's name comes first after the wedding.
