I'm new and I can't find a venue

Hello everyone out there.

I'm planning on a Sept 2013 wedding and i'm having no luck finding what i want in my price range and was wondering if anyone out there would be able to help me.

My wedding will be around 140 people. I would like to find a place that i can do a outdoor ceremony and have a indoor/ outdoor reception area. My budget is $4000 for the reception rental, dinner, and a decent bar. It breaks down to roughtly $29 per person.

I'm going for an elegant look. And i would like to be able to have an outside reception area, maybe not to set up tables (if the venue doesn't allow) but I'm having wish lanterns and would love some outside picture.

I live in Brighton but anything around Livingston County or downriver would be nice, the Southgate area.

Im not sure about that area, but since you live in Brighton I am not sure if the Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor would give you what you want. They do not have online pricing but here is their information if you are interested 734.794.6230

Also wanted to mention that I am using Garys Catering and just did a taste testing today and the food was great at a great price so check them out as well. They probably have a list of places that allow outside catering and can give you more ideas. Tell Sherri that the future Covingtons referred you!

Thank you. I'll look into this caterer and seeing if they can help me with a caterer. I would never of thought of it.
