Vistaprint (STDs, Invitations, TY cards, BM gifts)
VP is amazing! We got 100 STD postcards for shipping cost only (like $7). Then, we got 200 invitations and RSVP cards for under $150 (including a picture and backside color printing). And, we got sooooooo many rave reviews about how great our invites looked. I got my ladies personalized notepads and sticky notes pad. Also got about 20 TY cards for my bridal shower. We also got 100 TY cards that matched our invites, and put an e-pic on the back. They all look fantastic. I will say that the TY cards come flat with an indentation in the center for the fold. It threw me off at first, but isn't actually a big deal. I signed up for VP emails, got lots of great offers (which is how I got my invites that cheap). I also used two livingsocial's $10 for $50 worth of products for the BM gifts and TY cards. You can't use any other coupons with those, but instead, it's 30% off the entire site. And, the $50 doesn't include the shipping costs. Seriously, this was a great find (thank you TK boards) because, for us, it was important to keep this cost reasonable.
Bexley Beat (Guest Transportation) We didn’t ride in it, but from what I hear, it was on time, and got people where they needed to be! That’s really all I ask of it! They were very reasonable, and they allowed me to cancel one of the shuttles when we determined we wouldn’t need two.
Century Cart Connection (Golf Carts)They were reasonably priced, drop the carts off at 1 and picked them up at 4, just like we wanted them to. Other places required us to take them for the whole weekend, which would have been a hassle!
Holiday Inn Downtown (Room Block)
They were alright. At one point in time, the room rates were telling people the parking was a different price than what we had agreed to. I haven't actually figured out if anyone was charged the wrong price. They didn't offer us any kind of free or discounted room or a free upgrade. When we called to make a reservation for our wedding night, there were no king beds left, so we didn't stay there. When we started looking at hotels, we found that many places were already booked and couldn't accommodate us, so, we really only had 2 viable options, so not much bargaining room. They provide transportation to and from the airport, which was important to us. They also had an in house bar, which was something else we wanted.
Westin Downtown (Wedding Night Hotel)
Shortly before the end of the wedding, I freaked because we hadn't actually checked in to our hotel yet (though, I indicated that we would be checking in late, I was worried that something may have been miscommunicated). My sister said, "Don't worry, everything's taken care of." Phew. Well, when we finally got there, we checked in, went to our room, and we had been upgraded to a junior suite, there was champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and a card signed by the staff at the Westin. Now, I'm not sure if the champagne and strawberries were something our wedding party planned and paid for, or if it was something the Westin did, but, it was awesome and sweet. Oh.....and the bed was AMAZING and they have the heavenly shower heads too!
Serenata Duo (Ceremony and Cocktail Hour Musicians)
I didn't actually hear much of their performances, but guests said they performed well. I was able to do everything via e-mail which was nice, and they were a good price for live music.
