WSU St andrews hall

I had a link to a blog from a bride who reviewed and called all these places in detroit and got prices and photos of venues. I lost the link!

Does anyone either have the link to her blog or information on the Wayne State University St andrews Memorial church?

St. Andrews Hall is rented by the campus events dept at WSU. We looked into having our ceremony there and even put a deposit down but ultimately decided against it for the following reasons:

1. It's an empty room with a stage and you have to rent all the chairs through WSU. If you plan on having your reception there you also have to rent tables through WSU, as well as food and drink. They don't allow any outside vendors.

2. They were kind of hard to work with and you have to contact a different dept for pretty much every need you have...and they turned the lot next to it into a paid lot and when we talked to the parking dept at WSU they told us our guests would have to pay for parking to come to our wedding.

I don't know if this is helpful to you at all, but thought I would throw in my two cents. I may have some pictures my friend took for me of the inside if you are interested. I will have to check my computer at home to see if they are still there...

Yikes, thank you for the info. Parking was one of our concerns. Thats pretty cruddy! That helped make a choice right there! Thank you very much
