I totally wasn't expecting work to throw me a shower, but I just found out today they are! They were going to make it a complete surprise, but decided they should make sure I don't schedule any client appointments for that time, lol. I have NO idea who is in charge (i.e., the hostess)! I'm guessing it won't be a big thing with food and decorations, probably everyone will chip in for a gift or two. But I honestly don't know what to expect.
Do I need to get a hostess gift? What if there is no single hostess, do I get everyone a little something (there are 8 ladies in my office)? Or would a nice thank you card after the fact suffice? Help, I am clueless!
