Hey ladies!

I'm meeting up with a friend from grad school for dinner tomorrow and she asked me to pick the place. I work near campus so the Short North or Grandview would be best but I'm open to other options.

Where is your favorite casual dinner spot?

In Grandview I love the Grandview Cafe and Brazenhead

Our favorite casual restaurants:

Short North: Marcella's, the Happy Greek, Northstar

Grandview: Dewey's, Marshall's

Downtown: Tip Top, Little Palace

German Village: Easy Street Cafe, Thurman's, Max and Erma's, Planks on Parsons

Clintonville: Lavash

Upper Arlington (really I mean Lane Ave): La Chatelaine

All these places would be easy to get to from OSU. Good luck picking a place!

I don't know what kind of feel you're going for, but when I lived in Columbus I loved going to Betty's in the Short North.  It was a cool hangout and had good cheap food.

Green, we have the same tastes!

I would also add in the Short North: Betty's and Mac's Cafe.
Downtown: Barley's Brewhouse

THe Happy Greek is a  little out of the way place in the Short North.  It's AWESOME.  One of my favorite places.  Check it out if you like authentic Greek food.
