Rustic Hall

I've been searching for a hall around macomb/oakland county that has a sort of rustic feel. Any suggestions?? Even if I have to provide my own caterer, just to have the space would work. Thanks

Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor is what comes to mind first but that's kind of far.  Check out these two.  Riverbirch looks amazing.

I was also going to suggest Cobblestone in Ann Arbor, even though it's not in macomb/oakland. It's awesome though!

    Good luck :)

I just recently found tollgate farm in novi at 12 mile and m5, its run by MSU and the catering is very reasonable. its a big farm with horses and gardens, they have a big barn you can have your reception in, Im going to look at it this week sometime.

Van Hoosen Farm in Rochester, MI.  It looks like a nice, rustic setting for a wedding.  But, if I remember correctly, they do not allow alcohol at all on the facility grounds....so, it may be an option for a ceremony, but probably not a reception.

Another option is the River Birch Lodge in Hartland.  This place looks BEAUTIFUL and I really, really wanted to look at it for our wedding....but it just seemed out of our price range.  Looking back on it now, I don't know if it would have been any more expensive than where we are getting married.  www.riverbirchlodge.com

And....you could take a look at Misty Farms in Ann Arbor.   www.mistyfarmsevents.com

Oops...just now seeing that you recommended River Birch Lodge.

We looked at Indian Springs and really liked it.  It is very pretty there....huge deck overlooking the pond and floor to ceiling windows.

The only reason we didn't go with Indian Springs is because you had to use their caterer, and it would be a buffett dinner.  We were firm on wanting either plated or family style.

Edited to add: I didn't think about it until now....but I could recommend my venue.  We're having our ceremony and reception at Shepherds Hollow Gofl Club in Clarkston, MI.  Rustic (see my picture below of the ceremony site) yet elegant.  We LOVE our venue.  I told my FI I want a house that looks like it one day.
