Another question

I feel like I am asking a ton of questions lately.  So sorry if I seem extra needy!

I am highly considering Bella Alterations in Livonia (I've seen some good reviews on this board).  I originally bought my dress at David's Bridal, but I do not want my alterations done there.  I have heard of too many horror stories.

There is no train on my dress.  However, I would like to add a corset to the back of the dress.  Hem is perfect as is, so not sure it would even need to be touched.  (it doesn't quite touch the floor, leaves just enough room for my green shoes to be seen).

So when should I schedule my fittings?  Also when should I call to set that first appointment up?

Your wedding is in 3 months. I'd probably arrange this soon if a non-corset back has to be converted. That can be a pretty big deal requiring more than one fitting, and it's a lot of work (says me who made my dress with a corset back).

Don't worry about the questions :)  That's what we're here for!

I *think* I booked my first appointment in January for the end of March.  My wedding was May 21st.  The timeline was strictly based on the seamstress' suggestion.  I would call now and ask just to be sure.
