Vent: it's one month for me today, and I'm so busy that I can't post much. 

Confession: I now feel guilty for complaining that it's so soon to the day I marry my dream man that I can't post on online message boards as much as I'd like.

Vent: First I'm throwing up Sunday night/early Monday morning, and now my sickness has taken a turn to some chest and rib pain in my right side and some pain breathing, plus now coughing? And the tiredness is impossible. I'm so irritated. Why am I sick in the summer? I hope going to the doctor today will sort out these conflicting symptoms.

Sam - I hope the dr gets this figured out and you feel better! Dear DIY projects, you and I are no longer friends. You monopolize my time, cause me great frustration, lack of sleep, and lots of paper cuts. Dear Dream Cruise, you suck.

Vent: Our new foster dog chewed up my NEW bridal hair clip. I am sooooo MAD, seriously, it was in a box with my veil and things to take to the basement. I turn around for one second and it's now ruined. GAHHHH somedays I hate that dog.

I confess that I'm so confused with a friend's behavior. We've been friends for several years, she came out to visit me a few years ago in Seattle (2009) and it was a little too much togetherness for our friendship (one week). We finally talked about it a year later, and things were good for a few weeks until she fell off the face of the earth and stopped responding to communication attempts. I sent her a "hey thinking of you" email in March and in May she responded and we talked for a few weeks before I said "Hey, just so you know, I'm excited we're talking again but I am worried that you're going to up and disappear on me" (it was much longer than that but you get the drift.) She never responded, and I sent her a wedding invite right around that same time giving her the benefit of the doubt.

I just got her RSVP back on Saturday. Her and her husband are coming to the wedding despite not responding to my email or any texts I've sent since then. WTF mate!

Vent: Fi and I have been fighting like crazy lately and I can't get into planning. I still need to book a dj!!

Confession: I took the garbage out last night after a long day and left the gate open, which I often do. Fi let the dogs out this morning. Now when I let them out I walk them right to their outdoor pen and lock them in. Fi will just watch from inside our florida room. So we started our day looking over the neighborhood for our two d@mn dogs! We found them, but there were many words.

At least it was a clip....our dog got my mom's dentures years ago.....

I thought I could get through one week without a vent... I guess not. 

So Sunday night, well Monday of last week, I went to the ER for this stabbing pain in my side.  It literally felt like I was being stabbed in the liver.  Plus I had some other funky symptoms I won't get into.  Well, the ER was kinda a joke and I don't advise anyone going to Henry Ford of Macomb.  (This is now the second time they missed a key test and I got kinda screwed for it because the doctor wouldn't listen when I asked if that exact test should be done).  Anyway, fast forward to that Friday and I get the test I needed finally.  Today I went to my doctor for the follow up and since those tests turned out fine I now get to have another more specific test.  Turns out I may need my gallbladder removed.  I know it's not really a big deal surgery wise, heck I'VE performed more complicated surgeries but really!?  Just when I think I'm getting better something else happens... ugh.

Megan that sucks! You've not had a good time lately My best friend had her gallbladder removed a few months ago and it was a quick recovery for her. Thankfully, you have a lot of time before the wedding. Do they think this is what was causing all the problems?

Rachael - One of my BMs had her's removed about 2 weeks ago now.  She's fine and said she really just had 2 days off and then went back to work so I'm not worried about it. 

They think this is what's causing all my abdominal pain.  I have that more specific test tomorrow morning so we will know then.
