Pictures in between cerermony and reception

Hi!!  So my wedding is just around the corner, August 11th!!  And one of the last things I need help with is finding a place to take photos in between the ceremony and reception.  I am getting married at Meadow Brook in Rochester Hills, and my reception is at the Iroqouis club in Bloomfield Hills.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!!

My SIL got married at Meadowbrook and they have some lovely photos on the grounds. I assume that by having your ceremony there, you'd have access to that as well. That'd be my suggestion. There's a nice bridge and great gardens, and even using the mansion as a backdrop (doorways, etc.) would be nice.

You could also do downtown Rochester since that's close-ish I think. You could do street shots or maybe check and see if you can go into one of the restaurants/bars and get some cool shots.

Downtown Rochester is schedule to finish construction by the end of July, which sounds like it's cutting a little close to your date in case they run over! I'm sure it will be fine, but I wouldn't get my heart set on it! Right now, all of Main St. is torn up and you can't drive on it and it looks like crap. BUT! It will look great once it's done. Plus, there's the Rochester park nearby, OU's/Meadowbrook's grounds, and a bunch of cool stuff around town - like maybe the grain elevator if you want a more rustic look, or out by Van Hoosen farms? If it were me, I'd probably stick to Meadowbrook, depending on how long you have there.
