Okay, the HM was MUCH needed... sooooooooooo wonderful.

Sunday and Monday we simply relaxed. It was glorious!

Tuesday we went to Chichen Itza... very fascinating

Wednesday we went on the "Skyrider Adventure" (parasailing) 

Thursday WE SWAM WITH DOLPHINS (my dream come true)

Friday we had a couple's massage and lobster dinner on the beach

Today... lots of lines at the airport and sitting on airplanes. Woo?

However, I went to my last post and read all of your lovely comments! Thanks!

Liz - I did not mention the cake design in my wedding planning knotting because Dan and I helped design it BUT I suck at describing things. And honestly you never know how the cake is actually going to turn out so I didn't want to mention it until we saw the final product. 

theleos - Yes, it was at Oak Arbor Church (both ceremony and reception). Such a beautiful place and Mandy was great to work with!

emilynnp - I bought TOMS wedges, mixed modge podge + glitter and smeared the concoction all over them and they turned out wonderful. 

Meg - you mentioned you have questions... I'm guessing about Rivercrest? Let me know! 

ALSO --- you know how I won that diamond necklace from Channel 95.5?? I ALSO WON THE TRIP TO VEGAS!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. They called on my wedding night and I missed the call. The voicemail said "Hey it's Jag from Channel 955 call me back before 9PM" and since I didn't look at my phone all night, I tried calling back (at 1am) but no answer and I honestly figured they gave it away to someone else. BUT when I turned on my phone today I had a few voicemails from channel 955 asking for information - so I sent an email tonight and hope to hear from them asap!

Okay now it's time to sort through all 800+ photos from the HM, haha I'm the type of person that takes 10 photos in a minute and only 1 turns out good, oh well.

Congrats!  I'm glad you had fun.

I had questions about rivercrest - how was the food?  Any details would be great.  We're still debating on what we want to have.

My other question was how did your alterations go?  What did you get done, how much was it, and did you like the results?

Meg -- The food was great and Nino was awesome to work with. I know you're having your reception there so it may be different but since it was off-site we were able to take home all the leftovers. My sister/MOH apparently ate it for the next 3 days, and my parents froze a lot of it, plus we have some in our freezer too. 

We had:
skinless, boneless, marinated chicken

roast beef with mushrooms

ham with a pineapple glaze

bowtie noodles with marinara sauce

redskin potatoes

vegetable medley

uhhhh I think that's it? yeah. people didn't complain, so that's good!

Sonja -- I LOVED working with Amy. The only "complaint" I have is that when we were running behind schedule I wish she would've taken charge more for family photos instead of being her laid back self. It really wasn't a big deal though. She's sooo awesome and accomodating

Welcome back!!! I want to see pics!  Sounds like you had a blast, and you get a bonus vacation, too.  You're so lucky!!!
