The Knot's "point system"

I haven't seen this asked before.

When I go into my knottie site, there are "points" listed under my siggy pic. Anyone know what the h*ll these are for, and what they mean? Does it  mean I am an aimless poster who posts a lot, or have anything to do with stuff I've ordered? Are these things that can be redeemed, meaning they aren't "pointless" (pun intended) reminders that I have no life? If I have a lot of points, does that mean I get more emails from the knot offering me goodies?

I can't remember which part of my profile I've seen these, and of course can't find them now.

Thanks.

I've never noticed points on theknot, just # of board posts. Now on thenest they have points listed underneath the posts, I *think* it has something to do with the ratings feature on the boards.

  • I have the same question!! I'm new to the site and cannot figure that out at all.
  • They just have to do with forum interaction. Like the heart with a number on it means the number of hundreds of "love its" your posts/comments have gotten. There are points for replies and mentions too. You don't get anything for it, it just shows who the more active Knotties are.
