Restaurants near the Palace?

So for FI's birthday I surprised him with tickets to go see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra next weekend at the Palace! We have been wanting to see them for years and I can't wait!

Anyway, neither of us have been to the Palace since we were kids, and we'd like to make it a nice night by having dinner beforehand. Neither of us are familiar with that area at all. Does anyone know of any good places to eat near there, or in between Ann Arbor (where we live) and there? I'd like some place nice, but not too nice/pricey.

Anyone have any recommendations or thoughts?
Thanks in advance :)

Lucky him! I've always wanted to see them perform.

I went to Palazzo di Bocce for my cousin's rehearsal dinner back in October. It was a lot of fun! Italian food and you can play bocce ball. I don't want to throw you off by saying there are games, because it's still a really nice place. It's north of the Palace on M-24, less than a mile away. [:

... or come to my house, I'll cook y'all some dinner! (We live 5 minutes from the Palace, woo!)

I only know of places around the palace :)

I used to work at the Palace and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is an AMAZING show, always a favorite to work!  The palace does have its own resturant called the Palace Grille along with a bar called Old No. 7, both are pretty nice priced and decent food. (the number for reservations is (248) 377-8454) Also there is the post across the street which has bar food...but its nice because its directly across from the palace...Have fun!
