How he proposed: It was after work, two days before our 8 year anniversary. He used "Blue Bear" that he got me for Sweetest Day many years ago. Blue Bear was holding the ring and Chris got down on one knee.

Something else you want to share with us: We both love disc golf (him much more than me), but it's a sport we both enjoy together!

Something else you want to share with us:  I can't believe my wedding is so close.  It seems like I have been posting on here forever and the closer my wedding gets, the more in shock I become.  And for the most part, I am pretty stress free.  ***knock on wood

How he proposed:  We had a nice dinner with our best friends and were just hanging out and talking in the living room.  He's a dork and acted like he hurt his leg (which he had injured playing rugby earlier that week) and then dropped down on one knee.  I was totally surprised and loved it!
Something else you want to share with us:  Hmm I am currently unemployed and it is kind of amazing. There's lots of time for wedding planning.  But if anyone knows of any administration type jobs let me know!

How you met:Umm, short story: mutual friend. true story: That mutual friend was my ex-bf of 5 years and Marsh's best friend and roomate. Marsh and I fell for each other at a chance encounter at a Metallica concert after ex and I broke up but my ex freaked out so Marsh and I stopped seeing each other. 4 years later (and 4 years ago, now) my ex passed away and Marsh and I reconnected at the funeral and all the feelings were still there and we have been togetherever since.

How he proposed: On the waterfront in Wyandotte after taking me for our favorite treat,Saunders hot fudge cream puffs.

Something else you want to share with us: We just got back from a long weekend in the UP where we had engagement pics done on Mackinac Island! My siggy pic is not an e-pic yet, but a photo from Sable Falls in the UP

Anything Else you Want to Share?  Since DH has gone away on a business trip, most of my meals have consisted of chocolate and/or cupcakes.  Once there was a bagel.  But I think I put nutella on it.

Something else you want to share with us: I'm on day 17 of bronchitis / Pneumonia. I'm on day 6 of no smoking. I'm on day 2 of wanting to kill people.

<strong>How We Met:</strong> At work. He's a PA and I'm a nurse. Yeah it's super cliche.
<strong>How He Proposed:</strong> Camping at Ludington State Park. It's our yearly summer tradition. We were watching the sunset on the dunes in the same place we did the year before. He told me that he wanted to be doing this for the next 20 years and then proposed. After it was all said and done I said to him "You do realize that 20 years from now only makes us 50ish, right?" He laughed. It was so perfect and so us.

How you met: This may end up being a long explanation :-) Through his brother. I met FI's brother because I lived next door to him in the dorms at college. We ended up forming a close group of friends, and almost 2 years after that, FI came up to visit his brother. We were at my roommates 21st birthday in a bar (that carded everyone at the door) and I thought FI was cute. I figured he was at least legal to drink since he was in the bar, and I tried flirting... and got turned down. His brother, then decided to mention he was only 17 (cue embarrassment...). After that weekend, FI added me on facebook to appologize for rejecting me, turns out he was just trying to look 'cool' in front of his brother and his friends. 
How he proposed: In Mackinaw City, at a lighthouse at sunset. Apparently he had planned to do it on this island... but I was a being a grouch because he made me ride my bike around the whole island. I was tired and grumpy, and ruined every moment he had to propose. Oops 
Something else you want to share with us: Today marks the official ONE YEAR mark! And I'm SUPER nervous about the baseball game tonight.
