When to buy M&Ms....

Hey there...I just have a quick question. I am ordering m&ms in our wedding colors from a bulk candy store (much cheaper than going direct) and I was wondering when do you think it will be ok to purchase them. Our wedding is in July and I would like to possibly try to start working on my favors, just to check them off of the VERY long list of things to do. Any input is much appreciated!

As long as you keep them in a room temperature and they remain sealed, they will last for awhile.  I found this site helpful while planning:

I also think as long as they are sealed and at room temp you'll be fine to get them whenever you want.

Where are you buying them from?  My aunt wants to get those for us but the M&M site is really expensive.

What about off brand M&Ms?  You can get "gems" at meijers or a bulk food store for pretty cheap.
