Recommended bands

I just spent quite awhile looking through the vendor reviews in the sticky and only saw 1 or 2 band reviews. I am looking for a high energy band for our wedding at the Colony Club on August 17th, 2013 which plays a variety of music ranging from classic rock to today's hits. My budget is between $2,000 - $3,000. Any suggestions?!

how exciting! another colony club bride! i've been looking at bands too but I'm not sure given how expensive they are, we'll be able to swing it.

i saw another bride post Dan was approx. $7G.

My plan now is to get a half band/half dj. Band for cocktail hour, although I'm not sure how much room there is in the cocktail room, and for dinner and then a DJ for afterwards.

I hesitate to bring them up because they don't really do classic rock, but Hidden Agenda Band is fantastic and was willing to work with my budget.(around $3000).

But I also wanted to remind you that a band vs. a DJ means more mouths to feed. I mean, there are sometimes ways around that, with vendor meals and such, but it's something to think about.

Mrs. Kaiser, I actually reached out to them! I saw them on TwoFootCrows blog and have reached out to them.

They are still getting back to me about a price, but yes, they sound lovely! and would fit into the cocktail room we have are using!
