Grammar question

Two Thousand Ten vs. Two Thousand and Ten

which is correct?  I think it's Two Thousand Ten.  In fact, I am 99% positive but before I print it on my invites I'd like a confirmation on the internet, lol.  Thanks.

The first is correct.  The word "and" when talking about numbers refers to a decimal point.  So Two Thousand and Ten = 2000.1

The first one. Think about it this way: how do you say 2009? It's no different than any other years.

I recieved a sample invitation from Rexcraft and they have
    " two thousand and thirteen"
So i would say the second one is correct..

According to my google search using "two thousand and ten" is the preferred British way of writing a formal date whereas "two thousand ten"  is the preferred American way.

This is one of those things that you will think about but your guests will never notice whether or not you use the 'and'. If you have a preference I don't think there's any big difference between the two.

LOL @ Booger+Bear...isn't it funny how we stress over so many details that our guests will probably never notice? Oh well, I guess that's why we are all having such FABULOUS weddings! :)

I was pretty sure the 1st was right, but it helps to have the reassurance :)  I think it might be a twin thing- like I always need my other half to agree or something...but I guess that's something for another post, eh?
