Nylons for a Winter wedding?

Hi girls.

My sister in law is getting married Dec 1. and I am in the wedding.  She chose short black dresses for the girls.  Now i'm torn about what to do about my legs.  Clearly I won't have a summer tan and it could quite possibly be freezing.  MIL and her sister both think we should.  Bride doesn't have strong opinions. 

what would you do?

I would. If you, MIL and sister all think you should and bride doesn't care then it seems like a no brainer to me.

Brrr sounds  cold to me.

Agreed.  I'd see how she feels either about colored tights or just going with nude colored ones. 
I was at an outdoor wedding yesterday and was SO glad I had tights on.  I would have froze without them.

I say go for the nylons!! I don't know about you but the colder it gets the dryer my skin gets...with nylons you won't have to worry about applying/reapplying lotion & your legs will look tan!!

Mine was in Feb but I would remind you it was this last Feb so no where near as cold as it should have been...however, I chose short dark purple dresses with black tights because I like that look but I am not sure if black on black will look great depending on the style of the dresses. You could always try a few options on to see what looks best and if all else fails, regular nylons. I agree that no nylons or tights will be cold....I chose cheaper dresses and then the girls also got matching winter dress coats and i bought rain boots for outdoor photo's so all in all the cold was completely bearable even with the short dresses...

I would definitely wear nude nylons at the very least. Ask your sister if she'd be okay with everyone wearing black tights, as tights would be much warmer. You can get nude tights, but they're pretty thick and look more like dance tights.
