vendor that do not email/call back

First off, I know she has a bad rep on these boards. And I now know I should have listened. Ugh I bit the bullet since her prices were so cheap! I am getting married in 6 weeks, up until last week my linen vendor had been great with communication. It was at first diffucult to get together with her since I live far away. Last week I email her 5 days fter picking the colors to tell her that I changed my mind and wanted a the darker color table covers (the 2nd of the 2 colors I was choosing from) and white instead of ivory chairs. No response in 5 days so I emailed again to make sure she got my email and the changes were fine. No response. Two days later (Today) I called and went to voicemail. So far, no call back in almost 6 hrs. I was worried yesterday but I am freaking out now. Since the wedding is small the $50 deposiit is basically 1/5 of the total cost for the tables and chair covers that I needed from her (pretty much costing me half of the tables). Do I keep calling? How much time do I give her to get  back to me? At what point will I know that she ditched me and refuse to talk to me!? Help!

Some ladies on here probably can guess who I am talking about....

I actually emailed that same vendor earlier this week and haven't received a response yet either. Maybe she is on vacation?

Stephanie. To be fair with her, except for never giving me the official contract, she was fine with communication. There were a few instances where she would email me back in a matter of minutes. I never really had problem with her until now.

I don't know maybe she is on vacation? Sick? Or maybe she is mad at me for changing my mind on the colors and that I decided to pick them up (which was an earlier plan) instead of having her come to set-up since afterall it is a small wedding and my friends have offered to help me.

If it isn't 6 weeks before my wedding I wouldn't be freaking out. Is it rude to keep calling her everyday until she talks to me? Or should I just suck it up and look for someone else. For financial reason, I am holding on to her but I am worried if its worth it in the end.

She is pregnant and I hope everything is alright. No excuse not to be getting back to you though. I would think that if she is on vacation she would let you guys know especially since your date is close or have an out of office response on her voicemail or email.

I hope she gets back to you soon but she is very good and very good and very cheap too so I feel you. Let us know if and when she gets back to you. I have her booked for my wedding next year but I know all about her slow response.

I always found she wasn't good with emails and would call her. She is very nice in person, I just had my meeting with her about three weeks ago and my wedding is three weeks out. Sometimes if I wanted to get hold of her my email I'd have to write a few.
