Where can I rent a cake stand if I am not getting my cake from a bakery? (A friend is making it)

    I searched for months and months for cake stands. I ended up finding one on ebay and one at HomeGoods. Trying to find a 14" cake stand is almost impossible. When do you need one by? Once I get my life back together in the next few weeks, I will probably end up selling the two I have.

    If you have a chance, you should check out my cake stand company, Sarah's Stands (www.sarahsstands.com). I created a line of wedding cake stands in larger sizes and colors. I had the same problem as Jashley05, I couldn't find a cake stand for my wedding cake anywhere! So, after my wedding, I launched Sarah's Stands and the rest is history.
