Bars for B-party

My bm wants to know where I want to go for my B-party.  We are having a limo.  Were both kind of out the bar scene so not sure where the place to be is anymore.  I'm looking to stay on the east side.  Mt Clemens/Royal oak and anywhere in between.  I'm not into clubbing anymore.  I like to dance but I'm looking for somewhere laid back.  I went to luna's in Royal Oak a few week ago.  Not what I'm looking for.  Also places that don't have cover would be great.  I swear I spent $50 in just cover charges for this one B-party.  Any one heard the the bank night life in Mt Clemens?  My bm suggest that.  Never heard of it.  For those of you who have had your where did you go and what places to stay away from.  Ay suggestion would be great.

Have you ever been to Coyote Joes, its south of 23 mile on Ryan Rd.   Its an awesome bar....anyone that arrives in a limo gets free cover.

They have 3 different bars, a mechanical bull, they have a dance floor along with a nice stage you can dance on.

What about Dooleys on Hall Rd....its pretty cool too, no cover charge!

I went to The Bank for a bachelorette party last year and HATED IT!!! If you're not into clubbing, do not go to The Bank. It is the epitomy (sp?) of 'club'. White bar, white walls, white tables/chairs, leather couches, etc. It was very 'Austin Powers' looking to me. I just really didn't enjoy it. I'd much rather go to Coyote Joes or another place like that.

We are having mine at V Nightclub at the MGM Grand. I'm not a 'club' person anymore either but we are getting a VIP section that will have it's own bar and lounge area where people can sit and chill if they want or they can go out and dance if they'd rather. I'm hoping it's a good time for everyone.

I went to Coyote Joes last year for a bachelorette party, it was a blast!  Does anyone know how old you have to be to get in (18 or 21)?  We were thinking about going there this weekend but a few girls are under 21.

I haven't been to the "newer" Cheli's Chili in Clinton Twp, it's on Hayes north of 18 Mile. I've always had fun at the one downtown, not sure if this is the same clientele. I think I went to Coyote Joe's a very long time ago, and remember having fun.

There's also Ernie's on 19 Mile just west of Garfield. That may be too clubby for you, but again, it's got a fun bar. Website: http://www.erniesmi.com/bar.asp

I've been to Coyote Joe's for quite a few b-day parties and just nights out and it's always so much fun.  If your interested on thurs nights from 8-11pm its $1 drinks for ladies...you name it-shots or drinks!

Ernie's is pretty fun too, they have live music sometimes on the weekends. Most of the times I've been there for gtg type things it's an 'older' crowd lol. That meaning, not really clubby, more of a 25+ crowd and less barely legals.
