Photo Locations??

Hi everyone!! I'm new here, my name is Ashley and I'm getting married at Crystal Gardens in Howell on August 16, 2013. We just started officially planning last weekend-and I can't even put into words how excited I am!!

My question is in regard to photo locations in the metro detroit/ann arbor area....we booked our photographer this week and I'm trying to think of some good locations for our engagement photos this fall...I definitely want to be outdoors and I'm open to any suggestions you might have!! Thanks

The Arb in Ann Arbor! Free, gorgeous and tons of options. We did ours in the middle of October and had great fall color.

We used the ARB and the law quad at UofM...gorgeous!

If you want outdoor garden type of pictures, the Livonia park where we had our engagement shots, and had our wedding, is lovely. Our engagement pics were taken in October (almost 2 years ago), and our wedding was last August. It's more old fashioned and has a lot of historic buildings. It's a public park, open during daylight hours every day.

I also suggest the Arboretum in Ann Arbor.  It is gorgeous!  There are all sorts of areas for pictures including a great gate at the enterance, the river, bridges, benches and many different natural areas that lend to all sorts of opportunities.
