dress preservation???

What did you do with your wedding dress??? I kind of want to do it, but I don't see the point in putting it in a box to sit for X amount of years. I also don't want to sell it because its my wedding dress, but I have no reason to keep it. 

If you did preserve it, where did you go? I emailed Janet Davis cleaners, but they wanted $325 for my dress. I laughed because that is 1/3 of what it cost in the first place.

Janet Davis seems to charge a lot.  I looked into them too about preserving my dress.

There's a mail in one that's $190 but I can't think of the name off the top of my head right now.  Hopefully someone will remember it.

My parents' dry cleaners did it (they've been using them for years). I think it was only around $125. Initially, I was just going to have it cleaned, but not preserved, and they were going to charge $90. So, preserving it wasn't that much more. It looks very nice!

If you have a regular dry cleaner, maybe just check with them instead of going through a special service.
