I dropped cottage cheese on my keyboard this morning and I thought of you!

I am surprised my keyboard has held up so well. It is a Dell and I've had it for over 3 years. I eat breakfast and lunch almost everyday at my desk too!

LOL! My primary problem is that I also smoke, and ashes falling into the keyboard create havoc. Not sure what the exact cause is, but I've had two keyboards fail, where certain of the letters just stopped typing. I could hit the key, but nothing came out.....liquids, food, or ashes, or a combination, created that problem.

I have an ergonomic keyboard because I type so much in my job that my wrists were hurting me. The current one, however, most of the middle row keys, and several of the top ones, the letters have worn off. It drives Kevin CRAZY when he is here, because he has the "hunt & peck" style of typing and actually has to look at the letters. When I was in high school, my dad insisted I take typing, so I could be a "secretary" some day, should all of my other career goals fail. So, of course I can type my little heart out without looking at keys. NOT a secretary, but my dad's advice served me well.

Hey, I just posted on your DJ thread. Could you give me the link to your DJ? Thanks.
