I believe Megan is still in AZ so I'll start this.

What's on the docket for the week?

FI and I need to finish up our song list for the DJ and schedule our final meeting. Shower #2 is on Saturday so we'll be headed back up to MI on Friday afternoon. I am getting my hair/make-up trial done Sat. morning.  And I'll be doing my first dress fitting Monday while we are still in town. 40 days!

Shower Thank yous are going out along with rehearsal dinner invites.

I need to pick up ribbon and than drop off 60 Patron bottles and the ribbon at the florist. 

Send Thank you's for the few wedding gift we have gotten.

Finish the church programs and get them put together.

All TY notes are done (whew!)

This week is about finishing unpacking/organizing wedding gifts, then maybe taking the few gifts we need to return back to BBB and picking up several things we wanted but didn't receive.

It's been fun unpacking things, but I'll be happy when I can see my floor again instead of cardboard boxes!!

Thanks Angela I'll be in AZ until Saturday afternoon.

No wedding stuff really going on for me.  We're mostly just planning and finishing stuff for my grandma's funeral on Thursday.  Beyond planning we're going to try to get out some and go out to eat at a few places, maybe go to a casino, and possibly go to a zoo.

WR: I'm so close to printing and assembling invites I can TASTE it! It's been a long time coming. I finally posted my verbiage for the invites on TK for some critique and tonight I'm going to touch up the kerning and set the files up to print. Tomorrow will be printing & Wednesday will be cutting if all goes to plan! Then I'm gonna put my nose to the grindstone and hopefully assemble all of the invitations (approx. 100) before next week.

I would really like to be able to mail my invites out next week and be done with it!

Now I also need to start working on my wedding web site so when people get the invites the link I provide will actually do something.

NWR: A friend is signing a contract for me to do some design work for them, so I need to start getting to work on logo concepts for him. I have to try to remember that I need to take care of paying clients over worrying about and working on wedding stuff.

Megan--I hope you get to do something fun while you're there! Zoo sounds sweet!

I have to contact our venue and see about changing everything. We most likely will be moving our date up to this June/July and having a VERY small ceremony/luncheon afterwards. We are hoping they will work with us or else we may wind up just going to the courthouse to get married. Which is something neither of us really want to do, but sometimes life doesn't turn out the way you originally planned. =/

Actually I lived out here a while a few years ago so I know the area.  It's my parents and my mom's siblings (minus one sister) that don't know the area.  I figured it would be good for everyone to get out of the house and get their mind off of the funeral and my grandma for a while.

I'm so far gone from wedding planning. I'm five months out and have completely checked out.

And I have my best friends wedding shower and bachelorette party that are next month which I'm supposed to plan. I'm completely dropping the ball. I feel horrible. 

I have no idea how to get back into wedding mood.

I was there.  I kinda just have spurts where I get really involved in wedding planning for a while and then there are times where I want nothing to do with planning beyond being on here.  Just take it as you can and make sure the important stuff like vendors are done.  Beyond that I found working in small amounts helped.  For the invites I'd work on say 5 and then see how I felt about doing more; sometimes it happened and sometimes it didn't.

Our wedding program is supposed to be in the mail so I'm looking forward to getting it.  I'm hoping it is what we designed so we can give the go ahead for printing and assembling.  We ordered our final GM gift, third times a charm (we didn't like the other two).  RSVP due date is Wednesday so I'm hoping to have a final head count by Friday.  Then I have the joy of contacting almost all of my vendors and letting them know.  Also, trying to figure out the day of schedule.  I think I have most everything done but there are two vendors that have to arrive later so I have to confirm that with them.  Send out some checks and hopefully this weekend finalizing the menu.  

NWR:  I have meetings or observations everyday this week.  My birthday is Thursday so FI took me out tonight.  We will be doing something small Thursday as he is dancing with the school's dance club at their end of the year recital (funny to watch!).  

MMRoberts, sorry for your lose.  Hope you can enjoy Phoenix a little, the weather is nice.
